Canada receives outstanding rankings for the quality of its education system. The World Economic Forum has ranked the quality of Canada’s educational system as the best among G-7 countries and No. 5 in the world.

Post-secondary education produces top-quality workers—Canada’s world-class post-secondary institutions produce skilled workers that are critical to a knowledge economy and that have the education and creativity needed to innovate. Half of working-age Canadians have attained post-secondary education, the second highest level among OECD countries (see figure below).
