Canadian Employment Benefits
In Canada, every employer is responsible for making deductions from their employees pay and for remitting the deductions to the Canada Revenue Agency’s taxation department. These payroll deductions include personal income tax withholdings, employment insurance premiums (EI) and contributions to the Canada Pension Plan (CPP).
